Danfoss Training Course at Northern IndustrialSeveral of the Northern Industrial team participated in the training, which enables us to deliver better support and offer practical solutions for our customers’ requirements. We can help you specify exactly the right drive for your needs, provide better advice and ensure you select all the features that are of most benefit to your application.

A major focus of the training was Danfoss’ unique energy saving algorithms. Utilising VLT drives is one of the key ways to enhance energy efficiency and therefore save money. It is currently the most effective way to achieve a distinct, rapid reduction in energy consumption. These innovative drives have saved companies thousands in energy costs, Chester Zoo reported an incredible energy saving of up to 78% after installing the drives. An energy saving report is the best way to see how much you can save and we can produce this for you free of charge.

Day one of the course included hands on training on the VLT drives themselves, including keypad and parameter structure, monitoring the drives, the benefits of automatic motor adaption (AMA), faults & warnings, setting up the drive and using the keypad to download to the drive. During day two, Mick ran through the entire VLT® product range and showed how you can use Motion Control Tool (MCT 10) for more demanding applications.

Our engineers have years of experience in variable speed drives and can now begin applying their knowledge to the wide range of VLT® drives we support.

Danfoss provide these courses to ensure that their Drives Partners and distributors are equipped with the best knowledge to support their customers. We were host to staff from six other distributors in total.
